Fork seal replacement
Leaking forks are more than a spot of oil. Oil on your brakes is dangerous, and with too little fork oil your suspension doesn't work as it should.
Sound familiar?
- An oil ring or greasy film on the inner tubes of your forks.
- Oil on your brake caliper, brake disc or rim.
- The front dives further under braking than you're used to.
- The suspension feels soft or bounces after a bump.
Don't keep riding too long
Oil that gets onto your brake disc or pads makes your brakes less effective. So don't keep riding with leaking forks and message us as soon as you notice it.
What we do
We take the forks apart, replace the seals and reassemble the forks with fork oil at the right level. What exactly is needed differs per fork. We agree on that with you up front.
Price
At OG MotoWorks, replacing fork seals costs from €350, incl. VAT. Extra work, such as damaged fork tubes, always after consultation.
We help riders from Waalwijk and the region, up to about 50 km from the workshop: from Sprang-Capelle, Kaatsheuvel and Drunen to Tilburg, 's-Hertogenbosch, Oosterhout and Breda.
