Motorcycle garage in Waalwijk

OG MotoWorks is a motorcycle workshop on Professor Zeemanweg in Waalwijk. We do servicing, repairs, diagnostics and tyres for motorcycles of all makes. You deal directly with Freddy, the mechanic who works on your motorcycle. We work by appointment; labour costs €75 per hour incl. VAT.

Which motorcycles can you bring to us?

OG MotoWorks is a motorcycle workshop on Professor Zeemanweg in Waalwijk. Freddy works on motorcycles of all makes here: naked motorcycles, sports motorcycles, touring motorcycles and older motorcycles with carburettors. No dealer prices, just honest advice and real fault finding.

What do we do?

  • Motorcycle servicing in Waalwijk: minor and major service following your manufacturer's schedule.
  • Motorcycle repairs: leaks, brakes, drive and more.
  • Diagnostics and fault finding: when a light is on or it doesn't run right.
  • Motorcycle tyres: advice and fitting, €50 per tyre (tyre not included).
  • Chain and sprocket replacement and fork seals.
  • Annual service: your brakes, tyres, chain and lights checked every year.
  • Pre-purchase inspection: have a motorcycle checked before you buy it. €75 per inspection.
  • Servicing outside the dealer: BMW, Ducati, KTM and other makes.

How do we work?

We work by appointment. Message us on WhatsApp to book. Send us your registration number, make, model and what needs doing. We give you an estimate up front, and if we find something extra during the work, we consult you first. So you always know where you stand.

What kind of help do you need?

Not everyone knows in advance whether their motorcycle needs a service, a repair or a diagnosis first. That's fine. Here is a short guide so you roughly know where to start. Not sure? Just message us what you notice and we'll think along.

  • Your motorcycle runs fine, but a service is due: choose motorcycle servicing. We follow your manufacturer's schedule and check the parts that wear.
  • Something leaks, you hear a strange noise or something feels different: that is a repair. We first find the cause and discuss the options with you.
  • A warning light is on or it hesitates for no clear reason: start with diagnostics and fault finding. See also warning light.
  • Your tyres are worn or you're unsure which to choose: see motorcycle tyres. We recommend a tyre that suits your motorcycle and your riding style.

What can you expect from us?

At OG MotoWorks you deal with the person who actually works on your motorcycle. You message Freddy, and Freddy does the work. So no information gets lost along the way and you get answers from someone who has seen your motorcycle. We explain in plain language what is going on, and if you like we show you the worn parts. If we replace something, we tell you why.

We are honest about what is and isn't needed. If something can easily last a while longer, we say so. If something really needs replacing, you hear that too, with a clear explanation of what happens if you leave it. You decide, we advise.

Which makes and models do we work on?

We work on motorcycles of all makes, from Japanese naked motorcycles and sports motorcycles to European touring motorcycles and adventure motorcycles. Older motorcycles with carburettors are welcome too: that is often where the work is that newer motorcycles no longer need, such as cleaning, adjusting and synchronising carburettors. On modern motorcycles with a lot of electronics we read out the motorcycle to find faults. We only work on motorcycles, not on scooters or mopeds.

What should you send when you book?

The more we know in advance, the better we can prepare your appointment. Send us in your message:

  • Your registration number, make, model and year.
  • The mileage and, if you know it, when the last service was.
  • What you notice or what needs doing, ideally with a photo or short video.
  • Whether you have parts yourself or we need to order them.

With that information we can often give an estimate up front and have parts ready, so your motorcycle isn't with us longer than needed.

Where is our workshop?

You'll find us at Professor Zeemanweg 6-10, 5144 NN Waalwijk. See the route in Google Maps or read more on our contact page.

How long is the ride from the region?

Many customers come from Waalwijk itself, but we are also easy to reach from the surrounding towns. The driving times below are a rough estimate and depend on where exactly you start and on traffic.

  • Sprang-Capelle and Waspik: approx. 10 minutes.
  • Kaatsheuvel, Drunen and Loon op Zand: approx. 10 to 15 minutes.
  • Heusden and Vlijmen: approx. 15 to 20 minutes.
  • Tilburg and Dongen: approx. 20 minutes.
  • Oosterhout and 's-Hertogenbosch: approx. 25 minutes.

Coming from further away? That is fine too. Message us first and, where possible, we plan the appointment so your motorcycle can be ready the same day.

What does a job with us look like?

Honda CBR600F: bucking and stuttering once warm

A 2000 Honda CBR600F only ran properly with the choke on. As soon as it warmed up, it bucked, stuttered and lost power. The cause was in the float bowls. We opened, cleaned and overhauled the carburettors, then adjusted and synchronised them. While we were at it, we also lubricated the chain and checked the tyre pressure. The result: a CBR that pulls the way it should again.

BMW M 1000 R: a clutch that partly engaged by itself

The rider of a BMW M 1000 R noticed the clutch was slightly operating by itself. In our workshop we found the cause: too little free play on the clutch. After adjusting the free play the clutch gripped fully again.

Both jobs show how we work: first find out what is really wrong, then replace or adjust parts. See more examples on recent work.

How do we work, step by step?

  • You message us what you notice or what needs doing, with make, model, year and mileage. A photo or video helps.
  • We schedule an appointment that suits you. We work by appointment. Message us on WhatsApp to book.
  • We look first: we check, measure and read out your motorcycle if needed, so we find the real cause.
  • We consult you: if we see something extra, you hear it first. No extra work without consultation.
  • We finish and test, and when you collect your motorcycle we tell you what we did and what to keep an eye on.
